Steps for Creating A Circle

Registered members of Peace X Peace may create a Circle and connect in the Global Network.  Click on Join Now or Join to register if you are not already a member.

You can view general information about creating Circles at http://www.peacexpeace.org/content/en/learn/about-circles/join-circle

Simply log in. Complete your personal profile.

Now you can:

• Create a Circle or
• Connect with other women or Circles in the Global Network. 

Click on Login or Global Network Login on any page of the website.

To create a Circle, members first complete their personal profile (see Steps to Complete My Profile):

• My Contact Details
• More About Me
• What's Important to Me

Once these sections are completed correctly you will have access to the Global Network and be able to: 

• Create A Circle (a group of two or more)
• Circles I Manage (Circles you already created)
• Individual Member Connections
• Circles I Am A Member Of

Each member may create up to five Circles. Circles may be created with:

• women who know each other.
• an existing group.
• for the purpose of bringing people together around an issue, topic, or common interest.
• other.

Circles may:

• connect to as many other Circles as you choose.
• invite as many members as you choose.
  • The size of a Circle depends on the purpose and kind of communication you want.

Circles are a place:

• For conversations between women in your Circle
• For conversations and connections between one or more Circles
• To display your Circle's vision for others to see on your homepage

To create a Circle:

1. Click on Create A Circle near the top of your profile page
2. Give your Circle a name that will be displayed in the Global Network.
3. Click Submit which will take you to your Circle Profile Page
4. Complete About Our Circle.
   1. Fill in required fields.
   2. Click Submit.
5.   Complete More About Our Circle.
   1. Fill in required fields.
   2. Click Submit.

Congratulations! Your Circle is created.  Now you can do much more. The person who created the Circle, the Circle Facilitator, can add members, make connections, and customize the homepage. If you are a Circle initiator we invite you come back often to learn about features like these:

1. Create a connection to search the Global Network for a Circle to connection
2. Manage This Circle lists various options.
   1. Circle Members is the place to:
      1. Find members for your Circle by searching the Global Network.
      2. Invite new members.
      3. Remove members.
      4. Accept members.
   2. Settings - Decide if you want your Circle to be seen by the entire Global Network.
   3. Page Editor - Design the homepage for your Circle, also using
   4. Modify Style to change font, add color, etc. of your homepage
   5. Upload Manager - to upload photos, videos, recordings to your homepage.
   6. Sounds, Videos and Photos to add to your homepage.
